Summary

This tool is used by one person to publish that person's own videos to that person's own YouTube channels. It collects no data from anybody else, has no other users, sends nothing to any third party, and runs only on the operator's own computer.

What data the tool accesses

When the operator signs in with Google, the tool receives:

• An OAuth access token and refresh token for the operator's own Google account.
• The name and ID of the operator's own YouTube channel, used only to confirm that the tool is connected to the intended channel before it uploads anything.
• On request, performance statistics for the operator's own videos (impressions, click-through rate, watch time).

The tool does not access contacts, email, files, location, payment information, or any data belonging to viewers or to any other person.

How the data is used

The tokens are used for one purpose only: to act on the operator's own YouTube channel in order to

• upload the operator's own video files,
• set titles, descriptions, tags, language, category, thumbnail and scheduled publish time,
• post the operator's own first comment on those videos,
• and read back statistics for those videos.

The tool never deletes videos and never modifies content it did not upload.

Where the data is stored

Tokens are written to a single local file (data/channel.json) on the operator's own computer. They are not transmitted anywhere except to Google's own authentication and YouTube API endpoints. There is no server, no database, no hosting provider, no analytics service and no backup service involved.

Sharing

No data is sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to any third party. There is nobody to share it with: the tool has exactly one operator.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only for as long as the operator keeps using the tool. They can be destroyed at any moment by deleting the local file. Access can also be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions, which immediately makes the stored tokens useless.
